I think people are overlooking the major deal that went down on draft night.
Brian Colangelo acquired yet another European player to add to the NBAs' first Euro League Team the Raptors, from San Antonio.
No but really the draft itself wasn't that surprising. Oden went 1, Durant 2 yadda, yadda, yadda.
The big deals happened when New York decided to play ultra slow ball next year and have committed themselves to undervaluing the talents of David Lee by acquiring Randolph. Don't get me wrong Randolph is a nice player. Great size, likes to play in crunch time, terriffic hands and a great rebounder.
The other major deal saw Jesus heading over to the Celts and Ainge recognizing he made a mistake acquiring Wally last year.
I plan to break down just how bad one of these trades was and how good the other will be.
